About the Recipe
It's been years since I have had a Rice Krispie Treat and I have to tell you, they still hit.
Ingredients
10oz marshmallows
4Tbsp butter + more for buttering the pan
.8oz or 24g freeze dried strawberries, crushed a bit
1C white chocolate chipsÂ
3-4C rice krispies treats *

*3C will yield a gooey texture, 4c will yield a crunchier but not hard texture.
Preparation
1: Grease a 9x13 pan with butter.
2: Melt butter in a large stock pot over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add in the marshmallows and melt. Stirring occasionally. Once the marshmallows are melted, fold in rice Krispies treats, strawberries, and white chocolate. I like to reserve a little bit of the strawberries and white chocolate for the top of the rice Krispies treat.
3: The key is to work quickly to get the mixture into the pan, so you don’t have to press too hand to make a shape. Allow to cool at room temp. Slice and serve once cooled. Enjoy!
